A few little answers.

What is goopi?

goopi is a native macOS app that expands from the top of your screen. It brings widgets, music controls, quick notes, a file tray, and a little companion into your MacBook notch.

Which Macs does it work on?

goopi requires macOS 14 or later. It’s designed around the MacBook notch and also supports displays without a notch.

Can I make it my own?

Yes. Choose and reorder your widgets, adjust the opening and closing motion, and select which displays show goopi.

Does everything need an account?

No. Notes, the file tray, and focus tools work without an account. Music and Calendar need permission to connect. AI usage features need their respective accounts.

What powers goopi’s AI?

Connect your own ChatGPT or Claude Pro subscription in the Mac app to use the companion’s AI features.

When can I download it?

goopi is still being prepared for public release. The personal license is $15 USD once, with a 14-day trial when the app is released. Public downloads are still being prepared. The checkout below is a sandbox preview and does not charge real money.

How does the license work?

After purchase, your license key appears on the confirmation page. Save the key and confirmation link, then paste the key into Gooey → Settings → General → License & trial.

Can I move to a new Mac?

Yes. Deactivate the license on your old Mac in Settings, then activate it on your new Mac. One Mac can be activated at a time.

What’s included?

The personal app license. AI subscriptions are purchased separately. The trial starts when you choose to start it in the app; no card is needed to start the trial.
